MMMIG: "Kinda Sketchy" Edition

Postby phayze81 » Thu Aug 02, 2018 5:07 pm

Sometimes it seems too limiting to just plunk down a single image for this challenge, but I feel like just unleashing you folks on a general theme is a trick I couldn't get away with very often (lest I run out of themes). So, for this month I've found a lovely page of miscellaneous mecha sketches, one of which is bound to strike a chord for whoever comes along seeking inspiration!

I HIGHLY recommend hitting that source link - the page it leads to has several more sketchbook-style images from the same artist, and they are all lovely enough that I really struggled to pick just one for this post. Enjoy!

Here's my submission. I'm not that happy how the upper legs turned out, but it was the best I could do at the moment. I'll let you try to guess which sketch inspired this build lol

This frame isn't from any particular sketch shown, but the sketches got me started

Inspired by 45.

The long antenna things on the top reminded me of bunny ears, and I knew what I had to do.

The "Killer Bunny".

This guy's already in my Zer0 Company thread, but it was inspired by this challenge (specifically #63 from the source link), so I'm putting it here as well.

As usual I'm late in posting my contribution.
