"Not as good" is subjective! Everyone brings different experiences and strengths to the table, and teaches someone else something new by building things the way they do. Personally, I think the way you built the front's very interesting, it puts me in mind of the speeder bikes in Star Wars. I was trying to get something similar going with a couple ideas but didn't think to use the perpendicular-ended lightsaber handles like that, it would have slimmed my attempts down a lot!
