Welcome to the site! Flickr really isn't all that bad, its as easy as any web based mail to sign up for. I've also heard of something called Dropbox, but I have no experience with it. Bottom line is, you'll have to use some third party service to host your pics online. Hey, maybe FB would work?

I'll throw another vote behind flickr, if nothing else there's also some good sharing/following/groups tools on there (and plenty of lego groups besides just the official MFZ group).

To post your pics they'll need to be uploaded somewhere, there's plenty of places to do it for free. Two of the simplest probably being Flickr and Imgur. Both let you organize galleries of your stuff and have some "copy this as BBCode" sharing tools for pasting into posts on here.
I put together frame building kits (and links to folks selling companies) at MobileFra.me.

You can attach files directly to a post (as I did here) but you don't get a lot of control on what size they'll appear and I believe there is a rather small file size limit for the total of all attachments anyone posts on the forum. So in general you're going to be better off going with a third party host and my put my vote behind Flickr in that regard as well.
