I need help picking bricks.

Postby Keruoacwannabe » Thu Oct 26, 2017 12:28 am

I’d really like to order a nice pile of pieces , in lieu of buying sets. I’ve looked on Lego pick a brick and also on brick link, and I’m just utterly overwhelmed. I don’t know the names or item numbers of any of these little connecty bits and cool joints that I want :(
I’m wondering if there’s some kind of master list I can reference to get this info?

Without knowing what kind of bricks your looking for, I'm just shooting in the dark here, but here's a link that has a parts list for the more common iconic frames (Chub, Hi-Leg, Scrambler, ect) Hope this helps give you a starting point into what you're looking for.

Of course there are some pieces that I'm fond of using, such as:
Names are not exact. Numbers are part numbers found under LEGO shops Pick-A-Brick

T-piece (4211508)
Tab (4211503)
Lampholder (4632571)
Travis Brick (4210700)
Upright Clip (6071226)
Side Clip (4587212)
Vertical Clip (4579354)
Barplate (4210660)
Headlight (4558953)

I hope this helps

Yes ! Thank you , it’s a starting point at least lol. Between those taps and travis pieces alone I already want so many, and the more intricate the design, of course the more esoteric the part.

Not necessarily. A lot can be done with basic parts. Look up C6.
