Do you mean like this? I'm using a random frame to test

@Artasid Programs like Bluerender let you input an LDD file and make a really nice, realistic image (rendering) of the model, with a nice white background too

Stud.io also includes a compact copy of POVray, just clicking the little camera icon labeled "Render" will get you started. Be careful, as the high and very high quality renders are very CPU intensive and may require a long period of time to complete on low power computers.

Thanks for the info guys. I've tried Bluerender, but for some reason, my computer refuses to run it, even though I have all the required programs. I then tried Stud.io and it seems to be working so far, so I think I'll stick with that for now.

I think I may have gotten the hang of rendering now. Here's one of my Convalier with LDD file

I hope I did it right this time. Please let me know what I did wrong (if any) and how to fix it. Thank you in advance.

Nice! On my computer, Bluerender only works when LDD isn't open at the same time, or something like that. Looks like you figured out something good though!

I have to have LDD closed when I start bluerender, but once bluerender is running then I can open LDD again and it's no problem.

I am LDD inept, and as a builder I am much more of a modder than an original designer. But I do have a couple of designs I would like to nominate for the list.

The Merheku (Tide Stalker): My Ijad tentacle walker.
The APEx-11: Heavy Military Frame from my Utari campaign setting.
The Krate KK-246: The Krate Kradle version from my run in the Budget Frame Wars.
When the Weepers first came through the gate, we didn't know why. We only knew that they were angry.

So here's the new official version!

Unfortunately, I got real sick this week and was barely able to work on the compilation at all. I threw some frames long due and Mark's ticks so I can prove he didn't kill me.

The real stars of this version were Phayze, Aardvark and Atavism. Combined, they made almost all the renders with incredible efficiency!

  • Now with 37 frames.
  • Renders included, on ALL frames!

YAYNESS!! :D :D :D
A new V.4! With the new renders, it's looking way cool! Thank you everyone who contributed.

Just a bit of trivia for anyone interested, there are 37 fames in this latest version
22 Humanoid Biped
7 Chicken Walkers
7 Quads
1 Hover

I noticed there are a sever lack of Hover frames. In all honesty, I didn't think they would be plausible in this universe, but Blorf makes it look possible, so I may just try to make one or two of my own when I get more free time.

Again Thank you all

Haha, I should go back to that same source material and look for more in there to draw from. It's a favorite of mine.

I represent half of the quads, too? But quads make such great game pieces. So stable and easy to play with.

That actually surprises me, too. Plantigrade humanoid walkers are the hardest for me to design, because we're so familiar with how they should look, it seems so easy to get them wrong, and not be satisfied with the end result.

Thanks for the shoutout Vitor!
Also, here's some Google Drive links for the new Taguthi, which I feel is the best version of the Taguthi and I wanted the Taguthi to make it into the compilation.

Interesting observations about frame types on here. I might have to experiment with some humanoid hovering frames in the vein of ZeroVirus' floaty frame goddesses now...
