ideas.lego.com: frames, checkpoints, and scenery

Postby Accelerando » Mon Aug 25, 2014 6:57 pm

I'm curious, who out there has any models on the LEGO Ideas page? I would love to see a thread of projects so I could support them.

I'll start with https://ideas.lego.com/projects/29774. All are inspired by this game.

Here are a few projects by other builders I've found and supported for their potential in this game.

One thing I noticed in our frequent games: the more ornate the cover, the less anyone uses it. I'm not sure why this is, but I think that: a)no one wants to destroy the awesome fuel station because I spent a bunch of time on it; b) because it's got so many pieces no one bothers to shoot at it, thinking it's invulnerable.

Myself, I like to see me some Lego buildings get blowed up. So I scaled back on my fancier terrain to encourage MASS DESTRUCTION.

Remember that transforming Pumpkin-bot we all liked? Someone put it up on Ideas along with an "Apple-bot".
