anything connects to the edge of a dish?

I'm trying to make a cool-looking radar thingy. I've got a 3x3 Inverted Dish, part 43898. I could just as easily jam an aerial through the middle and be done, but I'm wondering if I can attach something to the edge of the dish, so I can maybe make a radar thing with an 'offset' arm.

Does anything connect to the edge?

Just had a quick try with a cuople of the dishes I've got and a clip plate - that didn't clip to the edge: the edge is too narrow for the usual clips.

You might have to resort to building your own dish, or doing something like the decoration on this:

I don't know of anything that connects to the edge of a dish, but if you want an offset antenna you could try attaching a vertical clip plate in the middle and then clipping something into that.
