Mixel joints?

Postby Lasivian » Sun May 24, 2015 9:49 pm

I keep hearing about mixel joints. Can anyone tell me what pieces make up the new ball and socket joints?

Thanks

Right now it's just this, this, this, this, and this.

There also should be a circular 1x1 with a ball on one side.

I've also seen the new sockets used with this, this and this. Since the balls are the same size LEGO's been using for a long time, all of these would theoretically be compatible.

That piece is compatible with the new ball-and-sockets, but it went out of production a long time ago, which is unfortunate given its usefulness.

Also comes in trans-light green. I haven't seen any solid colors.

If I'm not mistaken, clear Lego parts are made of PS plastic instead of ABS, which means those wouldn't last long. If that's the case I hope they start making opaque versions of this piece.
