Emerging from the dark ages

Postby jaults » Wed Jun 28, 2017 11:11 am

Hey all,

I'm a long time fan of LEGO, just emerging from my second dark ages due to a six year old daughter newly interested in building with Daddy. I kickstarted MF0 years ago, but never actually played it since all of my bricks were in storage. Buuuuut I've jumped in now with both feet, sorting and storing my pile of shame, and Bricklinking a bunch of pieces to get my frames off the ground. I've started by learning from the masters, building frames from the instructions I found here and elsewhere, and am excited to design some of my own.

If you still nourished appreciation for all of this I'm pretty sure you were part of the light all along.

Welcome to the site! Always exciting to see someone new jump right in and start building. Every time I think we start getting stale someone introduces a new design idea or revamps an old build that gets the energy in the place hoping. Can't wait to see what you and your daughter come up with.
