Saw this pop up on facebook: https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10567132?fbc ... zZgmJLJf-U

Bandai released a "GashaPla" set of blind-box 1:60 scale VOTOMS models sometime last year, I think, and a second set is scheduled to be released in January. Here's some images of the models:

And weapons come in a separate box:

I'm currently debating whether I should get some of these. They look like they'd be a decent scale for VOTOMS skirmish gaming, with one-to-a-few ATs per player, maybe using MF0 rules.

Those looks gorgeous as is, and a simple wash would make them look phenomenal!

Those look really cool! But that price seems outrageous for little figs, especially for blind buys.
Did I do the math right, a Scopedog is 3.8m so a 1/60 is ~2.5inches?

I'll be Tokyo next spring, I'll have to keep an eye out for these when I hit the otaku shops.

I think the price quoted is for a set of ten, so that's roughly $4 per fig.

That's what I understood from the description. One 'item' is a box with ten randomly selected figure packages inside.

I've seen 68mm quoted as the height in a few places.

Sounds about right; 68mm/~2.75 inches

Would probably work very well with MF0 too

This might be a way to get the people I know playing MF0. It's been a few years since my last game

Yeah, I've had a few people approach me at demos who seemed to be interested, but were put off by the use of lego. MF0 with figures like these might appeal to those folks.
