I was beginning to think everyone here was almost twice my age. I'm 15 and trying to survive the jungle that is high school.

28 here. I was trying to build LEGO mobile frames the minute a friend with bunches of legos and I declared war on each other. That it took a few extra decades to get to the really good stuff isn't a huge deal; I'm a very patient man. :)

I'm 19 years old. I'm impressed with the age range, i definitely expected less middle aged people.

Define "middle-aged". There are seven people who responded who are in their 30s, and three of us who are in their 40s. For comparison there are ten people in their 20s and four in their teens.

To be fair, I am 29 going on 50. I would prefer to feel like a young 50 year old instead of an old 30 year old...

I was just yesterday reading an article about how high school is pretty much the worst environment you could engineer for teenagers. It certainly matched my experience.

So, good luck, those of you contending with it. Just remember, it gets better. When all else fails, make more art. In fact, better make more art anyway, just to be on the safe side.

High School prepares you for the rest of your life, the worst it is the better you will be able to cope.
