How amusing.
Corporations squabbling like toddlers over a shiny toy... this is nothing but an arms race, at best.
Still, in all of infinity, I suppose there is a chance for anything to happen.
Very well, then.

Those of you who seek refuge from the noisy infighting of self-righteous mega-corporations, the Ouroboros Simulacrum extends its aid. We ask nothing in return but your cooperation with those Ouroboros members who may find themselves among you.

And to those at PROXIMATION, Twanks LLC, and Chameleon Core, you may consider our proverbial hat thrown into the proverbial ring.
The Ouroboros watches.
I suppose it's about time for our grand revival.

//END TRANSMISSION//

Decided to revisit my old Ouroboros Simulacrum theme and see if I could make something different. This is essentially "Prism 2.0," and looking back I can definitely see how much I've grown as a builder in the past year.
Also making use of stud.io's custom decals feature, to pretty solid effect.
Let me know your thoughts!

WOW! Fantastic work! So first, the bit of lore that goes with this build is great. And the build is very very solid. A sleek, well rounded design with great color scheming.

Thanks! :P

I have to ask, do you mean the declaration of war, or the development history in the Flickr description?
I put way too much lore into this frame :)

In all honesty I didn't read your Flickr description until just now. So in answer to your question, Both. Having a detailed background of the frame type is great (like on your Flickr description), but also weaving it into the community generated lores (like your declaration of war) is great too. So together they are fantastic :) .

Very nice work Omiscient Frog. There is something "other worldly"with this frame design. And your last post really shows that. I think that it's amazing! :)

I wish I had an answer for you. Honestly they just kind of spawned out of my imagination with no indication of what they were or where they came from. They are alien to me as well.

----------

First pass at the Zero Company Apeirogon frames turned out... not so stable when I finally got them bricked. Pharaoh had weak ankles, Magus was topheavy, Ballista was way too out of scale with the others, and Aegis was pretty much the only one who could actually stay upright because of its tower shields. The new Apeirotope variants hope to counteract some of those issues, as well as bring Zero Company up to my current aesthetic standards. I still like the originals, but these new ones are just begging to be bricked... If I can ever get around to actually making that Bricklink order :?

Dude! These all look super fantastic! The Ballista is a great way to do a quad, real nice shaping in the legs and body. The shields on the Aegis are pretty dope. The Sage has a real nice flow to it. I really like the horns and the feet on the Pharaoh. And what takes the cake for me is the Magus. For some reason that build really speaks to me. Love the proportions and the side arm Railguns. Really great work. And you're right these are begging to be bricked up :)

This quad centaur thing is great! Really lovely from all angles.
(Don't worry, I'm actually just some kind of woke hippy armchair-communist intellectual type with really bad taste in numbers.)
