(part of the Helian Combine faction)

The Nomad Company was formed as a response to the Corporate Guard taking the local populace hostage in preparations to inform the Corporate HQ of the lost colony of H.E.L. VI.

Piloted by hardened miners and laborers, the Nomads are outdated workhorse Mobile Frames used by Helians pretty much for everything.

Originally the Nomad Company consisted of two slightly modified Frame types, the Soldier and the Raider.

d6B Arm shield for basic protection. Said to withstand a direct hit from a 155 mm artillery shell, but only once
    d6G Vernier boosters
d6Y Short range radio for inter-company communication

Later on the Combine managed to recover the crash-landed smuggler ship that carried Corporate-made hardware, including a couple of anti-tank rifles, thus giving birth to the Ranger.

d6G A mirage projector array. Is not a perfect stealth system, but makes it hard for enemy to target
    d6G A leg-mounted shield/stabilizer
d6Y An advanced optics array for long-range aiming

The standard detachment of the Nomad Company would thus consist of two Soldiers, two Raiders and one Ranger.

Love it! This is a really rockin frame, with a backstory too. The name, color, design, theme all fit together well. Would love to see this as an actual build. Great job :)

If you wanna give it a go, I can give you an LDD file. I am a purely digital MOCer due to many a circumstance.

Also thanks a bunch. :3

Thank you! <3

Honestly I think it's based off one of the classic MF0 designs, but I don't remember. xD So ye, the rifle rocks. :3

The unique torso construction of these frames have caught my interest. It took me a while but I decided to brick one to test it. I however, had to substitute some pieces for the leg construction because I lacked certain parts, but not a bad attempt in my opinion. I am really pleased with how stable the torso is, though the arms are a bit finicky, it is still a worthy frame build. Very well done indeed
