Atlantean Subsuits

Since Mobile Frame Ocean: Riptide Attack is super hot right now, I figured I'd try my hand at a pair roughly inspired by the old Lego Atlantis sets.

Awesome, that color scheme looks great, such an underused combination!

Not sure if intentional but the Neptune is pretty much my Peachman Roudy reinvented with Chub joints!

Thanks!

It wouldn't surprise me if I followed through the same decision trees that made your estimable Peachman. My original design for this guy just covered the chest with two of those 1x4 bows, but it was pretty boring. When I finished I definitely thought, "oh look, a Peachman," to myself.

I am really digging the front section of the typhoon. Can we see other angles?

In cross-section

All the angles, now in Stud.io! (Dropbox Link)

It's got kind of a flat back as-is, but there's room for more clips and jets and stuff for the so inclined.

Also, mea culpa, I patterned this off one of my old models, which I forgot uses Zerovirus' "Whitespace" architecture. All glory to him.

There is a slight difference in the height of the hole in the Technic Brick and the stud on the side of the Travis brick.

Huh. There is! I don't think I would have noticed if you hadn't said anything. It's very minute.

These 2 frames are so cool. They have a deep sea look to them and kind of a megaman feel to them. They totally rock! Very cool :)
