Originally I just went out to try to find an "accent color" that I didn't see in use a lot (hopefully without being super expensive) to make some chubs with. In the end after too much fiddling (and the arm discussion from MantisKing's egg walker) they turned out to be something related but not strictly "Chub" in the traditional sense.

Lessons learned:

1. Keep fusing parts from different people's work (Soren, MantisKing, HatRabies, AYates, I know I'm missing more over the course of putting these together).
2. Medium azure and dark azure don't actually look very good together (as one would hope based on light bley and dark bley).

Been watch these guys come together on flickr. I like the final results! The colors work well. I think the dark bley and azure look the best. So good in fact I'm going to be tempted to use that later. Good stuff.

I love the look of the company, but...

THOSE STATIONS ARE SO COOL! Just really nice! The stacks of three 4-packs remind me of Protoculture for some reason. (probably because I am a nerd!) :D

Very nice job on these. I like the color choices. Are the boxes on the left shoulders of the three rear units in the group picture SSRs?

Really nice company you've put together there, mraichelson! Great colors and an awesome overhaul of the classic chub design; love the creative use of mudguard! :D

Aw man. I just got a bunch of azure bits in that I've been rolling around the table, but you beat me to it. I'll have to wait til next month or something. ;D

Nah, this is way better than anything I was considering using azure for; you have a much better selection of parts in that color. I just grabbed them because the store I ordered from had some relatively cheap.

Great looking company, and I agree the dark bley and azure go very well together.

Those colors :o The shoulders are great, the angles really provide a certain something. I will say that I don't like the arms quite as much in white as I do in dark bley, but great looking company :D

I saw and the feet inspired me so the frames for the Lance keep evolving a little bit more at a time. This helps push them a little bit farther from "Superchubs with funny arms" and still keeps them (only) about a brick taller than a standard chub. (I really wish they did any kind of 1x1 plates in medium azure, ugh.)

Was experimenting with mixel parts again earlier (and some of the parts I had gotten for ships) and wound up with this guy. Still may iterate on it a bit more. The whole "spine" from the hips through the back up to the weapon pod on the top is using the ball and sockets.

Took a new company pic. (So many spotting drones!)

And slipped some extra markings onto the backs of the "specialist" units...
