I don't think I've seen those guns before. The slanted magazine is perfect. These guys still look killer.

Heh, thanks guys. I maybe like the guns more than the Super Chub itself. I've got no love for it lately

Something about your original superchub that I don't think I've noticed in recreations of it is that you only used the single boat tile with a 1x1 round for the head, making the shoulders look higher. It's a very slick and highly effective visual trick that makes it stand out. The way you used the black pieces in the forearms and the thighs of the build also accentuate the frame's bulk. It's really an ingenious design. I'm not sure that rebuilding it in colors other than black or white could be quite so effective, and perhaps that's part of the reason it's so popular.

The one thing I'm most proud of myself for successfully building. Just gonna leave this here..

Would it be possible to get an ldraw of this? I'm doing some leg experiments and those legs look pretty sturdy.

I'd really like to get an ldraw of this frame as well. I've been looking, but haven't been able to find one. A breakdown would probably work too.

Heh, I didn't design those legs. The credit would go to the good XGundam05 and his rock solid XVM.

Awesome, thanks guys!

Mantis King, you set me on a treasure trove. Thanks a lot! I had several of those .pdf's already, but some I had never seen before.

Well I've got three. They are all really different.

The Gryphon is my magnum opus for anything this size.

The Raptor is my best "practical" frame. At least for now.

My best Silranthii frame is the Immortal.

That shoulder connection looks killer. Could we get an LDDraw or breakdown of these guys?

So... uh.. I've been pretty active on Flickr and moderately on Facebook. Figured I should head over to the forums. Anyway, I'm happiest with these.

It's got a decent range of motion and the brick count is low. There's a link to the LXF file off the Flickr page.

Nice stuff you have there. :D How much would it cost to get those bits for both mechs? And where can I buy them at? I don't know any of the names of the parts. I haven't built Legos since early last decade.lol

Bricklink. That's going to be your only recourse. and when I rpiced out a frame that was very close to the Gryphon, it was around $30. Mind you, I didnt do a very strenous price comparison search.
