Cross-posted at NAC's request! It's full of non-standard chubbiness, since it's got modded arms and legs (and since you can't tell I'll snitch on myself: even the innards of the torso are modded, GASP!).

I am diggin' that big arm! The little one is sad though. Kinda makes me think of the Badass Psychos from the Borderlands games.

Thanks! I'm not happy with the little arm either, suggestions?

A BFG to show he definitely isn't over-compensating.

Fairly standard Super Chub, although I'd like to think the legs give it a different feel.

And one of the first Chubs I ever built (if not the first, I can't quite remember):

That looks so badass. Those legs make the Chub look super-tough!

CHUBS! I wanted to bring up this thread for a while. All sorts of head design, arm combinations and new legs yet still a CHUB. Never hurts to remember where a build originated no matter how you twist it. That is how I became so engaged here on the hangar, people giving credit where credit is due. I play music and elitism is a giant problem there so here is to the great job this place does keeping everyone credited! My size comparison frame has been the same CHUB that has been through many forms. I'll probably just update this post with more pics :)

This is really a thread that deserves to come back!

I'll be posting some chubs as well soon.

That is great! Maybe my favorite Twank hybrid yet. I picture a worried frame pilot voicing concerns on the blowback tolerances on a certain cannon and the tech telling them, "Don't gain weight."

Glad you like him! I did add an inverted slope to the back to make the torso a little roomier inside, not that it'll help much. Can't really see it in the photo though.

Here's my take on the venerable Chub, the CK Industries CK-04:

ImageCK-04 Chubs by thamilus, on Flickr

Not hugely different, though I have a personal dislike to the original's use of taps and 1x1 plate with clips in the hips hence changing the clips to those clips with bar pieces that are used in the shoulders.

There's a few more 1x1 round plates in there, and the chest and shoulders are slightly different.

Took me a while to like the Chub, but now I've built it, I'm a lot happier with it in general. Funny how that works.
Rooftop Racing Rules (Version 0.4.0) Version 0.5.0 coming soon, with some big changes.
