AMEN! lol, if I still had my old collection, I would be using them a lot too.
Adding the 2x1 mod handlebars for knee guards was a neat idea.

Thanks, Artasid! Too bad you lost yours, I don't see one in a new set in ages, I wonder if they will someday make a comeback.

2 1999 Star Wars cannons on a frame, with new style tiles, and it looks totally boss! Great job, the entire look fits together very nicely :)

I took the Crimson Legion Commander Type and upscaled it to fit the Minifig:

Here's a separate Mobile Frame Hangar thread: click

I didn't follow the proportions 100%, so the result is bigger than intended, but I like it that way.

I know I haven't been posting many pics lately, my phone broke and it was my only decent camera.

Thankfully, Atavism helped me fixing my backup phone's potato pic with some image editing magic!

So, long history short, it's my own take on a minifig scale version of the Lockon frame, which I was already working on before Mugbearer made his own great interpretation of it.

Ideally it would be exactly 2x taller than the 7p version, but unfortunately I had to go with about 2.3x so I could include an opening and closing cockpit.

As soon as I get my phone fixed I'll post more pics of it, including some weapons and accessories.

Thanks a lot, guys! I'll see what I can do about my phone, I'm having trouble with an insurance that now I think it was a pretty bad idea...

On the minifig frame: sweet build! :)
On the Quanta frame: very nice, great homage to Hydromancer. That chest and shoulders is looking really nice. And very interesting use of parts for the duel swords... Never thought of making an energy sword that way before, nice! :)

How is it that your Lockons keep getting better and better?! I am constantly blown away by what you produce.
Just out of curiosity, what is that grey piece you use for the Crystal Sword hilt? That looks like it could be a very useful piece.

@Artasid I believe that's a crutch piece from the Collectible Minifigures Series 15 Clumsy Guy. To bad it hasn't appeared since...

One of the limitations of the Lockon frame that I noticed pretty early on is how hard was to make some convincing front skirts for it without adding new waist plates and making it taller. Thankfully, those magical padlocks seem to have changed that!

I don't remember what set it's from, but those yellow plates with the alien markings give this Lockon a sort of Egyptian feel to it, plus the lime green makes it pop out. This is one of my favorites to date Vitor Faria! Excellent work as always! 8-)
