I am really looking forward to seeing what you do with that pile-o-brick.

As for your frames being tall for 3 bricks worth of cover, I would recommend not worrying about it. Its only an issue if you assume the frames are standing tall all the time which is a silly thing to do when being shot at. A 12"/30cm depression is decent cover for a 6' / 185cm tall person if they have the good sense to take a prone position. Or maybe your frames have some kind of holographic scatter technology which makes small amounts of cover disproportionately effective.

Actually, there's been a fair amount, as in I had the whole thing on display at BrickCon 2012, I've been meaning to get pics of that up for awhile now, but I'm pretty terrible, in the mean time you can check these out;

I've got all kinds of loose ends to deal with like this, so while I might not get to it quickly, I'm making a list so I will get to it....eventually! xD

Incredible! That's the first time I've seen any of that. Thank you very much for sharing.

Whenever you can, I'd absolutely love to see that full-table shot of this immersive little world you've created.

I got some pics from the Setup at BrickCon on my Camera, can't remember off-hand how good them are thought! xD but it was very similar to this setup, just featuring the FULL board size.

And 2012 was the first Brickcon I've missed in several years. :(

Every time I look at hat picture with the tank, I get flashbacks of trying to position my tank in Armored Core V.

Thank you, it's beautiful. That's about 4 foot by 4 foot? I can see adding an irrigation sprayer to the peach orchard as a Station.

It's pretty much 45"x45".

I'm working on a similar terrain board and have a planned game area of about the same size as that. I've a 4'x4' play surface and want a game area slightly smaller to have some room on the outside.

In one of the early playtests while the game was still in development, one of the stations used was a truck with a flat tire and a load of fresh peaches. We (the designers) liked it so much that we used it as an example station in the rulebook. From there, the community took the idea of peaches being a super-valuable commodity and ran with it.

No fuss/no muss, right?

Anyway: back to the original topic...
Apologies for disturbing the bones of an ancient thread. ;)
OrangeKNight, that battleground is one of the best I've seen!
Are the hills made up of solid mounds, or have you incorporated DUPLO blocks as filler?http://www.jangbricks.com/2015/05/lego-duplo-are-compatible-use-this-to.html
This method can make your scenery inventory stretch for more diverse and challenging battle tactics*.

*BIG shoutout to Jang for sharing this information in an easily digested format!
